FFL #11: Wine Country Weekend by rebekkaseale featuring a beaded clutch purse
Dear friend,
Here's my entry for week #11 of FFL, "Wine country weekend getaway". The blog is here if you want to play along! My friend Grace has been posting selections from each theme each week. I have to warn you, it turns from "relaxing Sunday activity" into "full-blown addiction" more quickly than you think :)
I've been trying not to wander off into Christmasland just yet, but then I realized this was out, and that plan went straight into the trash can. Nevertheless, I'm trying to concentrate instead on my Thanksgiving cake selection. It's between this and this and this and this. I'm going to make two. Help!?
Love,
Rebekka

Hello!! Love your blog, I have been reading for a while and never commented.... I am a fan of this Wine Country Weekend collection, so romantic! I have followed all the links to those shoes. But have come up empty, any suggestions? They are calling me! Thanks for all the insight and beautiful pictures.
Jess...me too! I can't find them anywhere except for on Polyvore. Aren't they darling?
Definitely do the second and third cake recipe! It's just enough sugar and spice ; )
ooh, this looks like fun! I'm following the blog now on Bloglovin'. Love your Wine Country picks, too. Thanks for the lovely images and links.
I am so in love with this outfit. I must have it all.

Wow! 50 songs by sufjan ? You made my night. Purchasing ASAP. My vote definitely goes to the chocolate Guinness cake. Might have to make that myself. Thanks for such an insightful and heartfelt blog. So nice to read sweet , peaceful thoughts before bed !
I want to dive directly into this board. So lovely!
I would love to know where these shoes were found, too! They are adorable!
and I love you blog, your pictures are fantastic :)
This is an awesome collection. Makes me want to get up and go to wine country myself.
Everything here is so wonderful!
Those are really chic inspiration. Love the ring and the shoes. Got my eye on your next posts.
Wonderful selection Rebekka, I absolutely love those glasses!
I would definitely love to eat cake number three (pumpkin with frosting) and perhaps number four (the dark chocolate one). But number two looks beautiful and is perhaps a bit less rich after all that wonderful Thanksgiving food. I don't know. In any case, good luck and please let us know how they turned out!
All these cakes sound delicious! Can't choose!
I made a guinness dark chocolate cake for my wedding last fall, and it was so rich and delicious. Plus, I always crave something chocolatey on thanksgiving, amidst a sea of pumpkin + spiced desserts!
Love your wine country weekend choices. Elegantly comfortable. As for the cake selection my votes go to the carmelized apple spice cake and oh my hands down the chocolate Guinness cake. This Irish Girl "needs" to make that one for sure! I LOVE the pan shown on the BLOG, I "need" that too!
Happy Thanksgiving!
The third option sounds great, but I'm a sucker for cream cheese frosting.
"Pumpkin Cake with Caramel-Cream Cheese Frosting" and/or "Caramelized-Apple Spice Cake". Can you tell I like Caramel?
Please post a photo of the cake you bake.
Happy Thanksgiving.
rebekka, i love EVERYTHING on this list. (oh dear.) you are the best chooser of things! :)
This just may be my favourite week of yours yet!
Rebecca,
You have made my year. I was just pondering only yesterday, "Is it too early for holiday music?" So, in went Vince Guaraldi/Charlie Brown for the millionth time as it is the only acceptable year round Christmas music. But then I thought, "This is to short! Only a handful of songs! If only someone would create an epic Christmas album!" So thank you for this wonderful gift.
(and, I vote #2 or #3; pumpkin is necessary for a complete thanksgiving, but oh! that second dessert sounds wonderful.)
Melina...you're welcome!! It's nothing if not epic!! :)
All of these picks are so perfect and so feminine.
